MINIMUM STANDARDS

EU-WEBPSI will develop minimum standards of professional practice (competence, training and certification) for public service interpreting, video-mediated interpreting and languages of lesser diffusion at a European level. These standards will address the current imbalance of PSI standards across member states. The framework will ensure that public service interpreters share the same professional framework across borders. The professional competence profile will be determined by administrating a more accurate context of the practitioner’s work domains and defining their competences.
